Forty-four percent of North Bergen residents over the age of 18 were fully vaccinated as of last week, according to the township. Another 13 percent had received a single dose, bringing the total to 57 percent of adults who had received at least one dose of the vaccine.
Recently, the township hit the milestone of 40,000 doses administered.
Vaccinating youth
North Bergen recently began vaccinating residents 12 to 15, following approval of the Pfizer vaccine for that age group. Minors must be accompanied by an adult and have parent or guardian consent. ....
