Second phase of vaccination drive may be over by mid-June SECTIONS Share Synopsis According to health ministry sources, all states have indicated that they would be able to wrap up the second phase of vaccination between May end and mid-June. So far, the ministry had maintained that phase-2 would be wrapped up between August and September. AFP The government is likely to wrap up phase II of its Covid-19 immunisation drive by middle of June this year, well ahead of its September target. In phase II, people above 60 and those in the 45-59 age group with comorbidities are eligible for receiving the vaccine.
