Reserve and chairman powell can control are the great policies in america. the amount of cash there is in the financial system. of course, in the past, the fed kept interest rates low and lots of cash in the system. this time, it has to raise interest rates to remove cash from the economy in order to keep that cash from chasing fewer goods and services. that, of course, leads to inflation. the result is a market that has to grapple with higher rates and what it means for a possible economic slowdown, but also what stocks should be valued at in a world where you can get increasingly higher risk...
