$1 million gift to UH Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute establishes innovation fund
The donation from Dr. Alan Markowitz, cardiac surgical director at UH Ahuja Medical Center, and his wife, Cathy Pollard, will support cardiac surgeons and structural heart specialists traveling across the country and the world to learn best practices and new surgical techniques and technologies.
