Bis zu 8.000 Lkw-Fahrer fehlen in Österreich

In Österreich fehlen laut Wirtschaftskammer (WKÖ) bis zu 8.000 Lkw-Fahrer. Der Personalmangel wird sich aber noch weiter verschärfen: Von den derzeit rund 100.000 berechtigten Lenkerinnen und Lenkern werden in den kommenden zehn Jahren 20 Prozent in Pension gehen, hieß es von WKÖ zur "Kleinen Zeitung" (Donnerstagsausgabe). Die Transportgewerkschaft Vida plädiert für kürzere Arbeitszeiten, um den Job zu attraktivieren.
