RCMP members receive Diamond Jubilee medals
The honourees from Battlefords detachment are: Sgt. Nolan Losness, who is in charge of the detachment's identification section; Cpl. Jeremy Andersen, a corporal on the watch in the city; Cpl. Gertrude Maxwell, who works in police-community relations and the victim services section; and Cpl. Tim Popp, assigned to the rural detachment of Battlefords RCMP. Losness, Andersen and Maxwell received their medals June 4 from Lieutenant Governor Vaughn Schofield in a ceremony in Regina.
