Plan Ahead: Events coming up in the Capital Region FacebookTwitterEmail Plant sale fundraiser is Saturday TROY -- Perennials, heirloom tomatoes, vegetables, herbs and other plants will be available for purchase 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at Capital Roots’ Urban Grow Center, 594 River St. Proceeds will benefit Capital Roots’ programs, including 55 community gardens, the Veggie Mobile, the Produce Project, Healthy Stores and Squash Hunger.
