Russell Investments appoints new CIO, president Kate El-Hillow was named global chief investment officer of Russell Investments. She replaces Peter Gunning, who has taken on a new role as vice chairman and strategic relationships officer, spokesman Steve Claiborne said in an email. Ms. El-Hillow was previously managing director and multiasset deputy CIO at Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
