Freshly cooked food, fruits, medicines, and communication tools are being provided to the trapped workers through a lifeline, ensuring their well-being during the operation.
National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) Managing Director Mahmood Ahmad announced that the vertical drilling at the Uttarkashi tunnel, where 41 workers remain trapped, will be completed by November 30. The current machine can drill 40-45 meters, and two more machines have been brought.
