Fairfield police say two Fairfield residents were bitten by dogs yesterday and treated at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. 37-year-old Billy R. Rawls and 60-year-old Robert G. Kamp both sustained injuries in the area of North First and Parkhurst streets. The dogs were impounded by the Wayne County Humane Society, pending the outcome of the investigation. 48-year-old Fairfield resident Christopher A. Medler was arrested by Fairfield police this morning on a felony charge of aggravated domestic battery. He is accused of striking a woman in the face and strangling her during a domestic argument.
