LUCKNOW: The RSS has pushed its organisational machinery to shoulder the relief operations carried out by various state governments, including UP, which are grappling with the lethal second wave of Covid pandemic. Sources told TOI that the BJP’s ideological fountainhead, has deployed at least two conveners in every district and for every region to coordinate with the organisational functionaries in reaching out to people who have contracted the virus and are in dire need of immediate medical help. In case of Awadh Prant, the RSS has appointed senior organisational workers – Prashant Bhatia and Lalit Srivastava – to coordinate with the grassroot Sangh workers who have been asked to fan out across the state and provide all possible assistance – including medical and other essential services – to the people. ....
