A mumbai court on friday remanded to police custody till april 30 two men arrested from punjab in connection with the firing outside bollywood superstar salman khan’s residence in bandra. subhash chander (37) and anuj thapan (32) were produced before a magistrate’s court. the crime branch on thursday arrested the duo, who had allegedly provided weapons and cartridges to the shooters, from punjab.
Suspects linked to the firing incident at Salman Khan's residence were transported to Mumbai under Crime Branch custody. Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, were grilled by the NIA and according to reports on ANI, 'crucial information' was extracted. Meanwhile, the men who supplied the arms, Subhash Chander and Anuj Thapan were remanded to police custody till April 30.
Anmol Bishnoi had claimed responsibility for the firing and a probe too showed his involvement, following which the LOC was issued on Friday by the Mumbai police, the official said.
This comes after Bishnoi, in a purported social media post, claimed the responsibility for firing gunshots outside the actor's residence. | Latest News India
