LAVA Community Support Event Goes Virtual LAVA News: In order to ensure that the community can safely show support for victims, the Los Alamos Police Department’s Victim Assistant (LAVA) National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW) Community Support Walk will be a virtual event. Los Alamos JJAB Provides Winter Clothing To 85 Youth Donated or purchased items being sorted into packets for delivery. Courtesy/JJAB JJAB News: Just in time for the last snowstorm, JJAB was able to provide 85 youth with winter coats, boots, gloves, scarves, and/or hats. Youth ages 5-18 that live or attend school in Los Alamos County were provided with the winter clothing in the first two weeks of December.
