Lonsdale Street resident Sara Paparo says it is unclear to her "where quarantine begins and ends", stating CQV Commissioner Emma Cassar's claim Novotel/Ibis hotel staff and apartment residents did not share spaces was false.
The COVID-19 Quarantine Victoria Commissioner insisted hotel staff and apartment residents next door did not share a stairwell and carpark and were at no risk, despite the revelation on Tuesday the hotel was the source of the deadly Delta variant outbreak.
"There's no identifiable boundary. It's not clear to us whether entry and exit points into the quarantine facility have appropriate safety protocols in place," Ms Paparo said.
"We have in fact requested of COVID Quarantine Victoria a copy of both their COVID plan but also for the quarantine order and permit so we can verify what in fact is the boundary of quarantine and we haven't received any information."
