NDO/VNA – Vietnam has highlighted India’s economic achievements despite global instabilities, trade tension and the COVID-19 pandemic at the WTO’s 7th review of India’s trade policies and practices.
At the event held on January 6-8, Ambassador Le Thi Tuyet Mai, head of the Vietnamese Permanent Mission of Vietnam to the United Nations, World Trade Organisation (WTO), and other international organisations, said the economy kept its average growth at 7.36% for 2015-2020 and 4.2% for 2019-2020.

Hanoi (VNS/VNA) - The Government’s
relief package of 62 trillion VND
(2.6 billion USD) for those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic has been largely
considered appropriate, timely and well-targeted, a citizens’ survey released
on December 8 revealed.
About 83 percent of respondents assessed that the
financial support was
distributed in a timely manner, while 85 percent thought the application
procedures for the financial support were simple.
