A popular Aberdeen city centre café is on the move to bigger premises.

Arch View Café sits in the Gateway Arch Riverboat dock and offers tourists and locals alike a fast bite to eat while perusing the Arch grounds. Its simple menu features chicken strips, hot dogs, fries and burgers and a veggie burger. Arch View is only open from April to October.

A POPULAR destination on the Cheshire/Shropshire border has made changes to a public event in order to welcome more people. Combermere Abbey, just outside of Whitchurch, has announced that its grounds will be reopened to the public from Wednesday, April 14 for the popular Bluebell walks, which will now be held over a five-week period. The walk is normally held one day a year but plans are now in place for it to be held on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from April 14 until May 23, while demand could lead to an extension. For Best of BV 2020, resident Nancy Taylor was voted Volunteer of the Year. “I’m incredibly honored to be rewarded for doing something that is such a source of joy and enrichment in my life.
