Jercha, a fourth-grade teacher at North View Elementary, is the district’s primary Teacher of the Year, grades K-5. It's a good thing the school year is almost over: The latest report from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment lists 58 new COVID-19 outbreaks at K-12 schools, the most in a single week since the department began releasing weekly outbreak lists over a year ago.
