'Master' actor Vijay has a huge fan following, and all his movies are highly anticipated by fans. After the blockbuster hit 'Master', Vijay has now joined hands with 'Doctor' director Nelson Dhilipkumar and the shooting of the film will reportedly begin next month. However a new buzz around the film that is making the rounds is that versatile Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is expected to play the villain in 'Thalapathy 65'.
However, the 'Petta' actor has denied the report in his recent interaction with an online portal. Accordingly, he is doing some dark negative roles but was not approached by the 'Thalapathy 65' makers for the antagonist role. So, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is not playing the villain in 'Thalapathy 65', but he might be one of the choices of the makers, and anything might happen after some mutual discussions. Nawazuddin Siddiqui made his Kollywood debut by playing the antagonist against Rajinikanth in 'Petta', which was directed by Karthik Subbaraj.

'Thalapathy 65' director Nelson Dhilipkumar has begun the location hunt, and had gone to Russia before commencing the film shoot. As per the latest report, Nelson Dhilipkumar hasn't locked the final script with Vijay. Sivakarthikeyan, who is playing the lead in Nelson Dhilpkumar's debut, has revealed in his latest speech that Nelson Dhilipkumar is parallely working on the post-production work of 'Doctor' and script works of 'Thalapathy 65'. So, the director has not finished the scripting for 'Thalapathy 65', and the shooting will only commence after he completes it.
Vijay was initially planning to join hands with AR Murugadoss in his 65th film, which is to be produced by Sun Pictures. But it didn't happen since AR Murugadoss refused to accept the makers' change in his story. Then Nelson Dhilipkumar was roped in to direct the film, and the official announcement of 'Thalapathy 65' was made months ago.

While it has only been a couple of months since the makers of Thalpaathy Vijay’s next film announced that the film will be directed by Nelson Dilipkumar of Kolamaavu Kokila fame, reports on his film after that are already making the rounds. While it was earlier speculated that Thalapathy 66 will be directed by Siruthai Siva, the talks are apparently dropped as it will take a while for the director to finish Annaatthe and he also has a film with Suriya after that.

Pooja Hegde likely to play female lead in Vijay's 65th film.
Pooja Hegde is likely to play Vijay's romantic interest in his upcoming film with young director Nelson Dilipkumar. Last year, even before the release of Master, Vijay announced that he has finalised his 65th film. Tentatively titled Thalapathy 65, the film is likely to go on floors in February this year. Sun Pictures, the production house, announced the film with a small video.

Now, there are speculations that popular actress Pooja Hegde has been approached to play the female lead. Nelson Dilipkumar recently met the actress in Hyderabad and discussed the possibilities of collaborating with her for the project. However, an official announcement will be made only in February. There are also reports that the makers have are in talks with actor Arun Vijay to play the antagonist in the film.
