The three Kapuso stars received their respective recognitions during a virtual awarding ceremony held last March 6. Alden took home the Cover of the Year award for his December 2020 Village Pipol cover “The End/The Start: A Decade of Reflections with Alden Richards.” Jennylyn Mercado The Kapuso star expressed his gratitude to the award-giving body and the unwavering support of his fans in an acceptance speech, “I would like to thank everyone who voted for me as the 2nd VP Choice Awards Magazine Cover of the Year. ABS-CBN bested five other media companies for the award, which is given to the network that continues to provide “high-quality news and entertainment shows that remain on top of the viewers’ favorite lists.” Kapamilya teleserye “Love Thy Woman” was also cited for capturing “the hearts of Filipino viewers with its relatable and timely plot and great acting ensemble” as TV Series of the Year, while its lead actor Xian Lim won TV Actor of the Year for his performance in the program. ....
