3 Knoxville schools move to virtual learning after student's death
Austin-East Magnet High School, Vine Middle Magnet Middle and Sarah Moore Green Magnet will move to virtual learning for the rest of this week after an Austin-East student died overnight. He was the fourth student who has been killed in 2021 due to gun violence. Students will return to in-person learning on March 22 after a planned districtwide spring break.
