Keiko represents Peru s bourgeois sectors, from the upper class to many in the anti-communist middle class. It is a foregone conclusion that, as the left stages victories in Bolivia and now possibly Peru, and with broad anti-establishment protests in Chile, Ecuador and recently even Colombia, easily one of the most brutally repressive countries in the world, Washington is moving its secret assets to roll back and smash this social change tide.
