The Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) standing committee will discuss compensation for the victims. The VMC administration and BJP were cornered by the opposition Congress party and BJP corporator Ashish Joshi. Fourteen persons, including 12 schoolchildren and two teachers, lost their lives in a boat capsizing incident.
