The republicans took none of the amendments in the hearing. they ran this thing through, starting with public testimony after midnight. people were starting up at 7:00 a.m., when the open signups for testimony. we don't have a lot of options. breaking quorum would be a sure way to kill the bill. other than that, i'm at a loss. it is hard to do. the governor will call another session after this, to get his way. what we need, the only thing that protects texans right now, for the long-term, is federal legislation to protect our voting rights. we need the john lewis voting act pass. >> the presid...
