Minor hockey at least in Strathroy is officially over for this season after Strathroy Minor Hockey issued a statement Friday due to the Ontario government’s mandate that the Middlesex Health Unit move into the Red-Control level as of today. President Warren Woodiwiss says
the season was split up into 2 seasons during the pandemic.
Registration money that was paid for the second session will be refunded by cheque within the next month. If you do not receive your refund by March 12th please contact Strathroy Minor Hockey.
As far as Minor Hockey in Mount Brydges, they are in a wait and see mode right now saying they are hopeful that our area will be moved into the Orange-Restrict level in a couple of weeks and at that time they may be able to finish out the hockey season. Mount Brydges utilized a full year registration compared to Strathroy’s 2-part season registration format.
