Wartsila has received orders to deliver its Inert Gas Generator (IGG) systems, along with the latest technology in radio and integrated navigation systems, for six new liquefied natural gas (LNG) Carrier vessels. The 172,500cbm capacity vessels are being constructed for the Arctic LNG 2 project in Russia’s Arctic waters. In April, the technology group received the orders from Daewoo Shipbuilding Marine Engineering (DSME), together with options for an additional two plus two vessels. ....
