Miners 9, an alternative gallery for local artists, opens every last weekend of the month through September at Miners Hospital.

The group will host an evening of film screenings and a panel discussion at the Jim Santy Auditorium on April 10 at 6 p.m.

For its first year, and smaller-scale eligibility, there are six participating restaurants and bars: KITA at Pendry, Kutchu Shabu, Escala Provisions Co. at Hyatt Centric, Red Tail Grill, Edge Steakhouse and The Farm.

This year, Baracchi will be bringing her life-long pursuit of Tuscan cuisine to the Wasatch Back with three dinners and a cooking class.
