'Desperately needed': Coast suburb's fight against crime
Premium Content Subscriber only Neighbourhood Watch Sippy Downs has revealed it would expand its branch after 50 homes were broken into and more than 10 cars were stolen from the growing community. Residents of new estate Harmony have been invited to join the Sippy Downs branch following a community meeting between the neighbourhoods. The current team of 10 committee members and 20 volunteers has been working to keep the streets safe since 2015, but has put a call out for more volunteers in Harmony, and invited residents to join its Facebook page.
