Canyon Lake has been making headlines all summer for record low water levels but more recently, the receding water revealed a cave that was previously hidden underwater and one man who works on the lake went to look inside.
One resident said she didn't swim into the cave because it gave her the "heebie-jeebies."
The water level at Canyon Lake is continuing to drop even further down from its lowest point in recorded history but the low levels have revealed some interesting geological features that are usually hidden beneath the water’s surface.

The water level has dipped below 632-feet near the Tournament Point boat ramp, according to reports from Water Data for Texas, shutting off access to Travis County Park's boat ramps on Lake Travis.
