While no new jobs are being created, the company said the move will help retain the nearly 4,000 employees at the northeast Indiana facility.
The announcement is set for 9:05 a.m. according to a press release from GM.
The vote count will resume in Dayton, Ohio this week, with Shawn Fain holding a razor thin lead over incumbent UAW President Ray Curry.
