Tractor-trailer carrying J.M. Smucker Co. jelly goes into ditch

Wooster Daily Record BURTON CITY - Orrville Fire Department and EMS, Wooster Post of the State Highway Patrol and Wayne County Sheriff's Office responded Tuesday afternoon to a tractor-trailer in a ditch off Burton City Road that was hauling jelly from the J.M. Smucker Co. in Orrville. According to the State Highway Patrol, the driver was Anthony Kuntz of Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, who was not injured, was wearing his seat belt and was cited for failure to control. Burton City Road was closed until the wreckage could be removed by the Wayne County Engineer Department.

Speed limit reduced on portions of Milltown, Sylvan

The Daily Record WOOSTER — Starting Tuesday, the speed limit on portions of Milltown Road and Sylvan Road was reduced to 45 mph. The speed limits on Milltown Road between Oak Hill and Mechanicsburg Road on the north side of Wooster, and Sylvan Road between Hillcrest and Sylvan’s dead-end on the east side of Wooster changed to 45 mph. The speed limit had been 55 mph.
