Taunton Magistrates' Courts in St John's Road, Taunton A PROLIFIC thief has been jailed for more than six months for a string of shoplifting offences. Daniel Andrew Westcott, 30, who gave his address as a homeless hostel in Taunton, was sent down at Taunton Magistrates' Court after pleading guilty to four offences. He was sent to prison for a total of eight weeks for the thefts from Tesco, Tesco Express and Boots. Westcott received a further 20 weeks after admitting breaching a suspended sentence order imposed for eight theft offences. He was also ordered to pay £475.15 compensatio...
