Basic common sense Re: “Liberal plan for universal basic income ignores huge price tag,” Jake Fuss, April 14. To cut the costs of a Liberal fantasy of universal basic income, might I suggest that every voting Liberal business, union, individual — after all, you got us into this mess — sponsor a family with complete guaranteed income for their lifetime! That has caused many of the problems Canada is now facing, with COVID cases spiralling out of control and lack of vaccines.
