Lived near lake erie when you were a kid and you could tell those waves were different than ocean waves. the waves in a shallow lake are very sharp, like. this where an ocean wave 1 a roller. we don't get rollers. so those waves that paula hancocks were talking about, not 13 foot gentle up-and-down swells these are big sharp waves and it's very dangerous to get out of a boat and into the water as the boat is slapping up and down on the water and you're trying to get out of the way as you're a diver going down. this gets better the winds die off, storms go away. the storms are going away now. t...
