like, i guess, are you worried about that? or do you view that as fundamentally such a political mistake that ends up being kind of self defeating? well, they re doing it in contrast, and after two years of the january 6th investigations. and americans, as they ve watched those serious sober investigations, where almost every witness, you know, was from the republican party, they saw what a responsible investigation looks like. and now, as we lurch into a republican majority, they re going to see, as i said, chaos. and the voters rejected chaos at the ballot box. election deniers lost all over the country up and down the ballot. and jurors have also rejected these counter investigations, you know, durham s investigation now, i believe, are oh for two. they can keep going down this road, but it s been rejected by the american people. and if that s where they want to go, i welcome it, because i think that s going to guarantee, you know, joe biden s reelection and democrats reclaiming t
china. that s not a bad thing. we are not going to be able to resolve this diplomatically until we can get all four actors at the table together. as far as of the secrecy goes, i think it s just habit more than anything else. it makes no sense to try and hide it from the world. so how do you sort of view this in the context of the president sort of unilaterally saying, yeah, i m going to meet with the north korean leader, i want to do it by may. can you give us a sense of how this will sort of play into that effort? do you think that that is something you believe would be the right move for this president? i think it is always the right move to try diplomacy. before we lurch into a massive war on the korean peninsula in which a couple million people will die. i think the difficulty has exponentially increased because of the addition of john bolton to the security team, peter. bolton will be very aggressive with the north koreans, and i
battle started around the talks of affordable care act. the debt ceiling and those looming as we lurch from crisis to crisis, that s terrible for the economy. the business world does not want to go through that again. we talked about the medical device tax. and the tea party split with conservative republicans on that because they weren t interested in protecting the interests of businesses associated with the medical device tax. that was their split when they were to have this united front. this thing has been bubbling over for some time now. and one of the consequences of this kind of battling back and forth is you are going to see folk like boehner and speaking out. and karl rove who has deep pockets. one of the most well resourced organization ts. this is less about polts and making sure that business is insulated from some of the political maneuverings from the tea party.
