We saw the first tornadoes form over on i-70 there. you noticed it was that big, long line of training storms here, these super-cell thunderstorms. and that's why we see so much flooding. it hasn't been limited to all of north, central, arkansas, missouri, on into iowa where they haven't had rain for about the passed week and a half. very heavy rain. we've had flash flood warnings marked here in the red. all parallel to the interstate going on into st. louis. and widespread flooding, and, like we said, it does kill more people than any other weather entity. so do be careful traveling anywhere ...

But we can still see some gusty winds that can do some damage here. 70 mile per hour winds not out of the question. and then look at these flood warnings. the red is flash flood warnings. and we've had reports of flooded pedestrian tunnels downtown. stretching on up towards oklahoma border. the mayor having to dodge all of this debris that was out on the roadway, they were dealing with flooding, dangerous flooding there, as well. now we're dealing with the on going flooding threat. flooding does kill more people than any other weather entity.
