Body of missing teenager at Pineview Reservoir recovered
KSL TV HUNTSVILLE — The body of a 16-year-old who didn't make it back to the shore Sunday at Pineview Reservoir has been recovered, Weber County Seach and Rescue Commander Lt. Mark Horton said. The 16-year-old was attempting to swim shore to shore with three friends near Middle Inlet Beach, where the water is about 10 feet deep. When they realized they wouldn't make it all the way, they decided to turn back; however, the teenager didn't return, officials said. Initial reports indicate the teens were not wearing life jackets.
