Difficult experience and that actually was not the case for me this year. I think this is a group of people who even though we spend long nights together and dont always agree, was never a moment in which we questioned each others commitment to the work, to our students, to our schools. The integrity of the people who are on this board and the commitment that all of you have i think inspired me every day and really made it so i did not have to fear coming here and sharing these meetings. Im incredibly grateful to have the opportunity that this was a year of tremendous change in significant challenges for us as a School District. Our superintendent left over the summer. We had an election and the affordability crisis in our city continues to place tremendous strains on our families come out on our students, on our educators and schools. I think it is not an understatement to say this a critical time for our
