CLIFTON PARK – A man from Maine was arrested Thursday on felony weapons counts, accused of illegally possessing firearms at a Clifton Park motel, Saratoga County Sheriff’s officials said.
Michael J. McLaughlin, 29, of West Enfield, Maine, was arrested early Thursday evening on two counts each of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felonies, officials said.
Deputies initially responded to the La Quinta Inn and Suites on Route 9 in Clifton Park at about 5:20 p.m. for a report of someone walking around the motel with a firearm, officials said.

CLIFTON PARK - Saratoga County deputies on Thursday arrested a 29-year-old Maine man after he was allegedly seen walking around the La Quinta Inn hotel with a firearm. Police said they found he actually had several weapons in his possession.
Michael J. McLaughlin, of West Enfield, was arrested and arraigned in Malta Town Court and sent to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility on $20,000 cash bail, investigators said.
McLaughlin is expected to answer to the charges in Clifton Park Town Court at a later date. He faces several felony charges of criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

JStew: This is tough for me. I've never really identified with the hero in most movies, but I have no real desire to be the villain. Like, I'd love to be Johnny from Karate Kid/Cobra Kai. In the movie he was presented as kind of a jerk, and acted such, but think about it... He's actually the underdog in a way. Imagine if your life was going just great and some dude came along and just stole your whole world? I relate to Johnny way more than Daniel. Especially in the Cobra Kai show. So I don't know.... I guess I pick Johnny, and all the other "villains" who were simply provoked and misunderstood. Hahahaha...
