The Abilene-Taylor County Public Health District is organizing COVID-19 vaccination clinics at the Abilene Convention Center – when the state releases doses here. The Abilene-Taylor County Public Health District on Thursday reported three deaths linked to COVID-19, 163 new cases and 103 recoveries. The deceased – one man in his 60s and two men in their 80s – bring the total number of county deaths to 210. The three men had preexisting health conditions, officials said.  The 163 new cases are based on 59 polymerase chain reaction tests and 104 antigen tests.  Active cases total 2,066 (830 PCR cases and 1,236 antigen cases).
