(WDAM) - This monthâs WDAM 7 and TEC Golden Apple Award Winner is K-6 West Jones Elementary teacher Lorna Harper. Faculty, staff and students gathered in the library of the school to surprise Harper with the news Tuesday afternoon. Harper was shocked and speechless, but most of all she wanted to let the Pine Belt know she canât do her job alone. âIâm so thankful, but Mrs. Smith helps me so much too, so I canât take all the credit,â Harper said. ....
