“We have enjoyed much success since moving our auction online. It allows us to realize better value for your generous donations,” said fundraising chair Chad Ror, noting that members are seeking donations from Weyburn and area businesses for the auction. In their letter to businesses, Ror said, “We greatly appreciate your consideration in donating to our auction. Every donation that we receive whether it’s an item, gift certificate, cash donation, large or small helps us achieve our goal to make Weyburn and area a better place to live.” He added that “economic times have changed, but our community has helped us with great success over the years knowing that we follow our Motto of ‘We Serve’, and with that our supporters know we are giving our monies directly back to the community.” ....
