Delhi's air quality has shown a slight improvement, prompting Environment Minister Gopal Rai to urge states in the National Capital Area to ban firecrackers ahead of Diwali. Rai stated that if the trend of reduced firecracker bursting observed during Dussehra continues for Diwali, it will have a positive impact on pollution levels in Delhi. The overall air quality in the city was recorded as "moderate" on Wednesday morning. Rai also mentioned that stubble burning is ongoing, but the number of cases is currently low.
