Andy Mikula, Correspondent WRESTLING Flagler Palm Coast upperweight Garrick Schwartz was a champion and nine other Bulldog wrestlers placed at the Danny Byron Invitational Dec. 12 at Kissimmee Osceola. Schwartz, who wrestles at 195, was 3-0 with three pinfalls in the tournament and earned the championship by defeating his wrestling room sparring partner in the round robin final. Dalton Schell placed second and had two wins before being pinned at the 1:47 mark of the head-to-head match by Schwartz.
