Pete Buttigieg floats ‘vehicle miles’ tax Has there ever been a tax increase on the poor that The Radical Left didn’t love? And he has already distanced himself from this idea. He also “rode a bike to work,” yesterday, April Fool’s Day. Well, he didn’t really. He took a huge SUV most of the way, then a block from the White House he stopped, let burly men pull out his bike and helmet, got on and, accompanied by a security man on a bike plus the SUV behind him to insure he isn’t rear-ended, he pedaled that last block. (OK, LOL on that.)
