Luckman said the event had raised more than $80,000 for various charities over the past five years.
Hundreds of man and machine hours had also been logged to create a number of trails for the bike riding and running/ walking events.
New Zealand Land Search and Rescue, KiwiSport, Rotary Club of Waimate, Whitehorse Mountainbike Club, Waimate School of Music, Centrecare Counselling Waimate and the Waimate Harriers will be among those to benefit from the fundraiser. ....
