Kind of the waves would be breaking out there, even though just a few minutes ago all was quiet out there. not a great big powerful wave coming in. it looks like there is just activity as it reach that's area, whether it's gotten a little bit shallower because the water is coming inshore or got deeper. it is hard to tell. but we can see visible signs that things are changing in hilo bay as well as the wialoa river. we see that mud pouring through the river. things pretty calm. nobody is too excited. it's not like the big powerful tsunami wave that we've seen pictures of. of course, even had vi...

Overhead making sure that nobody is in the water. we do see a boat in the river. that was an area so devastated by the tsunami. there is one boat in the water now. but no sign of a wave. i'm not sure if it's coming in or out or if they're going to try to get that boat out of the water, small recreational boat. people have stayed away from the coastline area at least here in hilo and at least where we can see here at hilo. people are staying out of the water which is a good sign. >> please stay on the line. we don't want to lose this connection in the next few minutes. so just stay on the line....
