UMBC’s Nick Dupuis ended the longest game in school history, propelling the Retrievers past Stony Brook, 13-12, in quadruple-overtime Saturday. The win was UMBC’s second-straight OT win and moves them to 2-0 (1-0 America East). Both goalies shined in the extra periods with multiple saves, weathering man-down attempts and scoring chances.
