After last week’s deluge, more rain on the sodden soils could mean slips and floods.
Heavy rain and high winds are expected to reach Northland by 8pm before spreading to Auckland, Great Barrier Island and the Coromandel by early Sunday.
Another system brings more rain chances later today.
A strong system will head toward Western New York this weekend with strong winds developing. Winds will gust 50 to 60 miles per hour across parts of the area Saturday night.
