New memorials added to the Belding library
The Alvah N. Belding Library trustees and staff are thankful for the many contributions that expand and enhance the library’s collection. Books have been purchased in memory of Phyllis A. Slayton with a donation made from Tom & Karen Weeks. In Phyllis’s memory are adult non-fiction titles are “When Winter Came: a Country Doctor’s Journey to Fight the Flu Pandemic of 1918,” “We kept our Town Going: the Gossard Girls of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula,” and for the children’s collection “Alia Anna: a True Story of Outwitting the Nazis” and “Harriet Spies.”
