The annual Coats for Connecticut drive kicked off on Thursday.

Just after 6 p.m. Thursday, Deschutes County 9-1-1 lost power, which resulted in a phone, dispatch and radio outage. During the outage, 9-1-1 emergency calls were initially routed to Central Lane 9-1-1 in Eugene. 9-1-1 calls were then re-routed to the Deschutes 9-1-1 back-up center, which was fully operational. Power was restored at Deschutes 9-1-1 just before 7 p.m. The dispatch center is now fully operational. The cause of the outage is under investigation.
